Shortening skirts made easy and quick
Most women have their individual skirt comfort length and are reluctant to deviate from it. For this case, we want to show you how easy it is to shorten our vegan leather skirt without needing to master a sewing machine.
1. Put skirt on inside out
First, you should put the skirt on inside out so that the rough side of the fabric is visible on the outside.
2. Fold skirt
Fold the skirt to the desired length and secure with clips. It's better not to use pins because the small holes are visible in the material. Clips are cheap on Amazon and even cheaper at Tedi.

3. Shorten skirt
Now cut the material about 4cm above the fold. You can also mark a line for orientation. The skirt is best shortened with pinking shears. Otherwise, any other sharp scissors will do.

4. Gluing
After shortening the material, unfold the fold and apply the glue in wavy lines. I used Uhu all-purpose glue and it worked wonderfully. Then fold the fabric back so that the two layers of vegan leather lie with the rough sides against each other.

5. Pressing
Place newspaper under and over the glued area. I folded advertising brochures lengthwise and then placed the material between them. Afterwards, I placed books on top and let the glue dry overnight.
6. Styling
Remove the newspaper, put on the skirt, and mix and match as you like. Have fun!
