SOSUE was founded in 2016 in the heart of Hamburg by sisters Sue Giers and Vanessa Gieser. After their individual careers, the two mothers decided to realize their vision: a fashion label for women who are in the midst of life. From an idea grew a movement – rooted in the North, inspired by the world.
SOSUE stands for more than just classic elegance: authenticity, self-confidence, and female strength shape every collection. The looks are stylish, uncomplicated, and timeless – designed for women of all generations.
SOSUE produces fairly in Europe and sells through more than 300 national and international retailers. Many pieces are available in one size and flatter a wide variety of figures – perfect for individual styles and all occasions.
A highlight is the iconic Antonia blouse, which as a no-season bestseller continuously showcases countless outfits in a new light.
SOSUE is fashion that connects: mothers and daughters equally love the designs. A label for women that combines ageless style with innovative details – authentic, modern, and with Hanseatic charm.

We believe in fashion that lasts. That's why we don't follow short-lived trends, but create favorite pieces that accompany you for years – season-independent, chic, and timeless.
Many of our designs come in one size and proven cuts keep making a comeback. This conserves resources and reduces overproduction; for fashion that looks good and does good. Leather, fur, or down are not used by us. Instead, we rely on modern alternatives and high-quality natural fibers like wool and cashmere, which truly convince with their special quality.
Our clothing is made in Europe, mainly in Portugal, but also in Italy and
Bulgaria. There we work closely with family businesses that collaborate with us on increasingly sustainable production.

At SOSUE, comfort and experience come first. Our styles are "no-season," and every SOSUE drop can be effortlessly combined with current trends and individual styles.
SOSUE stands for high quality, excellent craftsmanship, and fair prices. To consistently meet this standard, we maintain close communication with our producers in Europe; especially in Portugal and Italy.
A key advantage of our collections is their durability. We primarily rely on natural raw materials such as cotton, merino wool, and cashmere. We also use organic cotton in our styles. We only use synthetic fibers if they mostly come from recycled sources.

Located in the heart of the elegant Eppendorfer Landstraße in Hamburg, the SOSUE store is a light-flooded, minimalist space that combines timeless elegance with inviting warmth. Designed in a harmonious, neutral color palette, the store radiates calm, style, and exclusivity.
Every detail is carefully curated and reflects the philosophy of SOSUE: fashion that is effortless, modern, and full of soul. The open spatial concept creates lightness, while deliberately placed accents highlight the collections and give each piece the space to unfold its impact.
The store is more than just a place to shop – it is an experience space where the SOSUE world comes alive. Here, customers can slow down, discover new favorite pieces, and be inspired by designs that combine authenticity, quality, and individuality.

SUE GIERS
Creative Director & Fashion DJane with fashion in her blood and the relentless urge to translate visions into fabric. Fashion has always been more than just clothing for me. Even as a child, I showed my grandmother sketches and explained exactly what she should sew for my Monchichis. I sensed early on how much expression, magic, and personality can be contained in a well-thought-out look. For a long time, fashion was my secret hobby, a creative outlet I never pursued loudly. But then I had the opportunity to dive deep into the fashion industry – not just on the surface, but truly in the middle of it: I was able to accompany design processes, understand materials, and learn about production paths. And it was exactly there that I built my professional network, which supports me to this day. Today, I am Creative Director of SOSUE – and I see myself a bit like a DJane: I mix, remix, combine old and new, play with contrasts, and create new, surprising silhouettes from them. This is exactly how our iconic Antonia blouse came about – from three different blouses, a statement piece with its own story was created. I prefer to work hands-on. I need to feel fabrics, pin cuts, see colors in daylight. That's why I regularly travel to Portugal to source fabrics on site and engage directly in creative exchange with our partners. What drives me is the play with form, function, and fantasy. Our hero piece – the SOSUE Antonia blouse – is never the end, but the beginning of a new story. I love developing new designs from it – sometimes as a coat, sometimes as a dress, sometimes as something completely unexpected. Always with the claim to make our DNA tangible: fashion with soul, depth, and real character.

VANESSA GIESER
As the managing director of SOSUE, I am responsible for the development and growth of the entire company; from marketing, sales, finance, and e-commerce to production and international expansion. What drives me is the versatility of my job: mastering new challenges every day and further developing SOSUE with creativity as well as entrepreneurial thinking. Together with my sister Sue, I form the heart of SOSUE. We bring different strengths that complement each other perfectly and make our company strong. Sue, with her tireless passion for fashion, is our lovingly called "truffle pig" – she senses trends, gives each collection a special signature, and delights our community with her joy for social media and content creation. Without this drive and her creativity, SOSUE would not be what it is today. We are never alone in this: behind us stands a sensational team we are incredibly proud of. Without this support, many things would not be possible. Equally important are our partners: from production sites to agencies; all work with us on equal footing, share the same spirit, and the passion for our brand. This network, shaped by mutual trust and support, makes SOSUE what it is: a company that lives in every facet of collaboration and solidarity.
