Cheers: The best detox drinks
Isn't that lovely? Finally, it's bright again in the morning when getting up, and the first crocuses are already cautiously poking their heads out of the ground. That really makes you crave spring! For us, that means colorful and healthy drinks that boost metabolism and chase away the winter blues with plenty of vitamins. To get the most out of the healthy fruits and vegetables, a juicer is truly worth its weight in gold. It's amazing what you can put through it. And the leftovers can be dried and used perfectly as a base for vegetable broth. All in the spirit of sustainability. Despite all the health benefits, for us, enjoyment and fun always come first when it comes to nutrition. The latter definitely isn't lacking when experimenting with the juicer. And it's also surprising how good the results can taste. That makes it easy to integrate such a healthy routine into everyday life.

Wide awake!
Guaranteed to wake you up and energize you
0.5 cm ginger root
0.5 cm turmeric root
2 oranges
1 lime
1 tsp flaxseed
1 tsp Manuka honey
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of pepper
Peel the oranges and lime and put them into the juicer together with turmeric and ginger. Stir the crushed flaxseeds, honey, cinnamon, and pepper into the juice and off you go!
And what can it do?
Ginger: The gingerols contained in the root are considered natural bacteria and virus killers. The spicy compounds of ginger stimulate blood circulation throughout the body, boost the circulatory system, and have a detoxifying effect.
Turmeric: The yellow-orange root acts as an antioxidant, detoxifier, and anti-inflammatory.
Citrus fruits: The juice of lemons and co. scores with antibacterial properties and a high content of antioxidants. In the body, it helps restore the acid-base balance and kickstarts metabolism.
Flaxseed: Flaxseeds contain the highest amount of omega-3 fatty acids. Very healthy and high in fiber.
Manuka Honey: Honey is healthy. And Manuka honey is even healthier: This is due to the high content of the sugar breakdown product methylglyoxal (short MGO). While regular honey contains 20 milligrams of MGO per kilogram, Manuka honey offers up to 800 milligrams. This makes the liquid gold demonstrably antiseptic, antioxidant, and wound-healing.
Cinnamon: The spice stick is said to have a variety of health effects. Cinnamon is said to stimulate blood circulation, uplift mood, and act as a disinfectant.

Ouch, spicy!
Provides energy and willpower
60g rutabaga
1 pomegranate
2 carrots
1 orange
0.5 cm turmeric root
¼ fresh chili pepper
1 tbsp flaxseeds
Pinch of pepper
Cut the pomegranate open and tap out the seeds over a bowl with a wooden spoon. Juice the pomegranate seeds with all other ingredients except the flaxseeds and pepper through the juicer. Stir in the flaxseeds and pepper at the end.
And what can it do?
Beets: Beets have a high nutritional value and few calories. They are rich in minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and iron as well as B vitamins, vitamin C, and folic acid.
Chili: The red pods are attributed with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, immune-boosting, and appetite-suppressing properties.
Pomegranate: The ingredients of pomegranate lower blood pressure, are good for the brain, liver, and intestines. They strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, and can also relieve pain. The little seeds are packed with antioxidants.
Oh, happy day!
Fills you up and makes you happy
2 bananas
2 tsp peanut butter
250 ml almond milk or oat milk
Cinnamon
Peel the bananas and puree them with the peanut butter, cinnamon, and almond milk using an immersion blender, then whip.
And what can it do?
Banana: Bananas contain many essential nutrients and have a positive effect on digestion. They contain many vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants that are good for our body.
Peanuts: Peanuts are not only a valuable plant-based protein source but also contain a lot of antioxidant vitamin E. In addition, they contain important minerals such as iron, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

Hey, Pink Lady…
Refreshes and grounds
½ beetroot bulb
½ cucumber
1 apple
1 lime
Run all ingredients through the juicer and enjoy.
And what can it do?
Beetroot: Beetroot is rich in betaine, promotes smooth digestion, and enables the body to break down metabolic waste products and toxins.
Cucumber: In addition to important nutrients like vitamin K and folic acid, cucumbers contain many antioxidants. They protect the body from free radicals.
Apple: Apples are healthy because they are full of good nutrients and boost the immune system with their vitamins C and E.

Wow, Greenhorn!
Gives full power with greens
2 stalks of celery
1 handful of basil
1 handful of spinach
½ yellow beetroot bulb
1 apple
Put all ingredients in the juicer and enjoy.
And what can it do?
Greens: Leafy vegetables, culinary herbs, wild herbs: They strengthen the immune system and contain plenty of antioxidants.
Celery: Celery also brings plenty of antioxidants. Celery juice acts like a natural cleanser in the body, simply flushing out toxins. In addition to antioxidant vitamins, the green stalks also contain considerable amounts of polyphenols. These are plant compounds with strong antioxidant effects. These include, for example, phenolic acids, flavonoids, phytosterols, and furocoumarins.

Wow, birch!
Boosts metabolism
2 cl birch extract or water
2 cl apple cider vinegar (cloudy)
1 tsp Manuka honey
150 ml apple juice
Put all ingredients into a shaker - an empty jam jar works too - and shake until the honey has dissolved. Cheers!
And what can it do?
Birch Water: Birch water is considered anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and cleansing.
Apple Cider Vinegar & Apple Juice: Apple cider vinegar aids digestion by stimulating the production of digestive juices. In particular, the digestion of fats and carbohydrates is said to be optimized by apple cider vinegar. Apple juice contains, besides various vitamins and minerals, the antioxidant quercetin. This destroys free radicals and inhibits inflammation.
