Curtain Bangs...yes or no?
Curtain bangs are one of the most popular haircuts right now. Literally translated, it means curtain bangs, a fringe that is parted in the middle like a curtain. Curtain bangs were already a popular haircut in the 60s. The French actress Brigitte Bardot made the long bangs popular back then.
Now this trend, like so many others, has returned.
Often curtain bangs are not cut at eyebrow level like traditional bangs but left a bit longer and cut in layers. The blogger Matilda Djerf immediately caught my eye regarding her hairstyle because she wears the popular curtain bangs, and they just look great on her.

Now the question is - how do you style curtain bangs properly so they look good and don't fall flat into your face? There are different ways to style bangs, one of which is with the help of a straightener.
For this, first take the front strands and hold them up over your head. Then place the straightener at the hair roots and twist it 180 degrees while running it over the strand. This gives the bangs a nice swing, keeps them out of your face, and adds volume.
Another way to style curtain bangs is with a hairdryer and a regular round brush. Take your bangs and wrap them around the round brush towards the back of your head. Now the hairdryer comes into play - hold the hairdryer on the round brush for about 1-2 minutes so the bangs get a curved shape. Do this until you are satisfied with the result. Then take the round brush out of your hair and shape the bangs as desired - done.

To fix both styling variants, you need a little hairspray, with emphasis on "little" so it doesn't weigh down the hair. Spray it lightly over your head so it stays beautiful all day. I recommend the Session Spray from Kevin Murphy, which doesn't weigh down and still provides enough hold.

So from me, the curtain bangs get a clear YES! The hairstyle is playful and romantic, and it also makes the hair look more voluminous. Dare to try it out; the good thing about curtain bangs is that if you don't like them, you can grow them out very quickly since they are not as short as a real fringe.
