Accessoires Trends Spring/Summer 2020

Now that the fashion month is officially over, some important trends are emerging. When we say goodbye to a year, we also say goodbye to the fashion of the past seasons. While some key pieces will remain stylish forever, there are many new accessories that will be worn by everyone in the new decade. Here are the 8 biggest accessory trends of the spring season 2020.

SCARF
This spring, the designers have been even more inspired by the classic accessory. From draped dresses at Altuzarra and Elie Saab to scarf dresses at Burberry and Bottega Veneta. With this eye-catcher you can beat the heat this season.

BUCKET HATS
Without fishing hats, people no longer come to the front door. Anna Sui and Giorgio Armani jumped on the train and put them on the runway. Defending yourself against the sun has always been fashionable, as this trend proves. The fisherman's hat comes and goes with the seasons, but its effortless style always remains the same. As a summer accessory it can be swung in different shades and completes any outfit.

SKINNY CHAIN BELTS
Rather used as a decorative element, the chain belt has become a popular belt variant this season. It provides a stylish look - worn either on the waist or on the hips.

SQUARE-TOED SANDALS
When trends come and go, one thing will always remain in fashion: a slim pair of sandals. Bottega Veneta made the square sole cool again last season, and designers like Phillip Lim and Donatella Versace have taken over the shoe's newly won popularity. The flattering design with a strap finish lengthens the legs and creates a unique silhouette for any outfit.

PEARLS
The pearls are very present in the spring of 2020. The classic material appeared in almost every form - from single drop earrings to layered necklaces and even on headgear at Khaite's. Pearls are among the most desirable jewels of all time, worn from Coco Chanel to Audrey Hepburn, so it's no wonder they appear on catwalks season after season.

SHOES WITH CHAINS
Another triumph of Bottega Venta accessories: shoes decorated with chains. The Bottega mesh shoe with a chain around the ankle was a big success in autumn and they are back for spring with a thicker, more dominant chain.

THE SUPER SAC
It's not often that a new silhouette appears on the catwalks, but the latest form this season: The super comfortable sack bag. From Salvatore Ferragamo to Bottega Venetas. Whether thrown over the shoulder or wrapped casually around the body.

THE TOE THONG
Nice flip-flops? This selection could not be more far from the pool changing rooms. In Spring/Summer 2020, we'll be spoilt for choice between flat or high-heeled models from Givenchy, The Row and Jil Sander.
