Monochrome Monday: Grasshopper Green

The week can't start more beautifully than with Monochrome Monday. Here you can find my favourite look every Monday - tone in tone. How did we come up with it? Quite simple: On Mondays the style genes always need a bit longer to get going - in the complete look of one colour we start the week more relaxed and with a concept.

Here is my Monochrome Monday Look today in grasshopper green. Admittedly, the grass looks more like 2 days after the harvest. My look is more Lind- or May-Green. Nevertheless, it´s a very nice tone. May green stands for hope like no other color. It is the colour of young shoots in spring and symbolizes the awakening and explosion of nature after the long winter. But the color green also stands for inexperience "A greenhorn" is a young - partly naive - person who is still "green behind the ears".

You can't say that about me - and so I broke through my "green" outfit a little and hopefully showed real "styling experience" with it. I had the pants for a long time and they are from Closed - the jacket (also Closed) was added recently, because I can wear them separately. It is a mixture of a fieldjacket and a short parka. Well, quite sporty and that's what I needed in the closet. The pants are actually pulled together with a light cord - but that was too profane for me and so I styled a natural leather belt (vintage) in addition. The striped shirt loosens up the green natural look and the gold jewellery by Marjana von Berlepsch makes the combi adult and noble. The bag is (as chance would have it) also from Closed and fits almost perfectly to the outfit. But that's the theme here! The shoes in Nude fit everywhere. The Mykyta dark green glasses are the icing on the cake and they are my al ltime favorite. Where I have already left them everywhere! I am so grateful and full of joy when the lost finds itself again.

The Monochrome Monday is more and more fun for me because I can combine old and new wonderfully and I am surprised every time how much color I have in the closet.

That was Monochrome Monday - next week I'll slip into the summer color yellow.
